Welcome to The Creative Convergence!
Where essays, stories, and art come together to shift perspectives and transform our experience of ourselves, our communities and the world.
My interests are diverse and eclectic. I write, read, art, make waves, meet people, make connections, and facilitate change.
My posts follow my interests and are organized in several buckets:
ArtShare: my own attempts at self-expression through visual arts, mostly water color and mixed media. For more of my art, you can visit my Instagram page or my RainMakers & ChangeMakers Substack which shares 61 days of index card size art and stories about people doing amazing things in East Africa on less than a shoestring budget.
Essays: reflections on various adventures in life, particularly through the lens of mid-life, often diving in and out of metaphor and Jungian psychology.
StoryTelling: occasional 1,000 word short stories.
LiteratureLove: I love to read, but the desire to spend hours reading comes and goes. When it hits me strong, I get fully engrossed and write about the books that impact and change my way of thinking.
ChangeMakers: The original place where I started writing and arting about ChangeMakers. For more, visit my RainMakers & ChangeMakers Substack which is where I continued the work!
